The Hillburn Community Scholarship Committee

Mission Statement:
The Hillburn Community Scholarship Committee is a community based volunteer organization  formed to make a difference in the ability of Hillburn youth to maximize their potential success by way of awarding annual Scholarships to help defray the first year cost of attending college/vocational studies. Goals also include raising self-esteem in our youth, encouraging the pursuit of higher education while cultivating community awareness. The Hillburn Community Scholarship Committee will name the Award each year in honor of someone, who in the past has contributed significantly to Hillburn's youth.  By so doing, the community will come together annually to recognize our aspiring Hillburn youth, as well as honor community role models, who by their actions have contributed significantly to Hillburn youth.

Target Audience:
All Hillburn residents who are graduating High School Seniors who plan on attending college/vocational studies are eligible to apply for the Hillburn Community Scholarship. Award recipients must show proof of commitment to attend either a college/vocational institution.
